Silver Fox Golf Course Practice Facilities
The driving range at Silver Fox Golf Course is located along the first hole. The driving range has mats to hit off of and there are yardage signs to shoot for. There is also a putting green on the right side of the clubhouse. Range balls can be purchased in the Pro Shop. Range tokens are $2.
Silver Fox Golf Course Hole by Hole
In this section, I will describe each hole on the Silver Fox Golf Course. Please note that I am basing the descriptions of each hole from the back tees. I will give you my opinion on how you should play the hole and my thoughts on each hole. Remember, these are only my opinions based upon my background and experience in the golf world. Feel free to comment below with your own opinions! If you would like to know more about my background, read this.
#1 Par 3
The first hole at Silver Fox is the shortest hole on the course. Do not miss to the left, the hole falls off on the left side and there is a bunker on the side of the green.
#2 Par 4
Hole #2 requires a carry over a pond from the tee. If you are trying to drive the green, play down the left side. The fairway slopes from left to right and a drive down the right side can kick into the long grass.
#3 Par 3
A very difficult Par 3, you will need to carry wetlands and a bunker to get to this green. There is room to bail out left if needed.
#4 Par 4
Another longer hole, you will need to keep it straight if you are trying for the green. There is a bunker on the left side of this green.
#5 Par 3
Number 5 is a great Par 3! You will be required to carry a wetlands area through a narrow chute of trees. There is a bunker on the right side of this green. This is the best hole on the course.
#6 Par 4
This hole is tucked behind some trees on the right side. From the tee, you cannot see the bunker that sits in front of the green in a swale. There is plenty of room down the left side of this hole.
#7 Par 3
Proper club selection is the key to this hole. Any shot that lands short of the green will roll down to a swale. There is a bunker on the left side and OB over the fence behind the green.
#8 Par 3
Plenty of room on this hole. There is OB far right and a bunker on the front left of the green.
#9 Par 4
The finishing hole is another hole that is over 200 yards. There is OB to the right of the cart path. This hole is narrow off of the tee and will require an accurate tee shot.
Silver Fox Golf Course Conditions & Review
I was pleasantly surprised with the Silver Fox Golf Course. It has some great Par 3’s and requires accuracy off of the tee on most holes. Overall, this course was in great condition and the greens measured 7 on the Stimpmeter. The course is located on the campus of the Salish Kootenai College and it is maintained by the college. The conditions were just as good if not better than other courses I have played.
I think this course will provide a good challenge for any level of golfer. If you have a little time and you are traveling through Pablo, be sure to stop and play this course, you will enjoy!
Pro Shop
The pro shop at Silver Fox has a limited amount of golf accessories for sale. They have golf balls and some clothing available. You can also purchase snacks, soda, and water.
Silver Fox Golf Course Real Estate
